Bio

Collin Cademartori is an assistant professor in the Department of Statistical Sciences at Wake Forest University. Before joining Wake Forest, Collin received his Ph.D. in Statistics from Columbia University where he was co-advised by Andrew Gelman and Cynthia Rush.

His research focuses on the metholodgical challenges posed by (Bayesian) models which are high-dimensional, poorly identified, or difficult to interpret. His work has studied problems in model criticism, model expansion, and uncertainty explanation. He also works on improving statistics education with technology, specifically through the use of web-based interactives for teaching difficult concepts in introductory statistics.
